"The Voyage Beyond" Reviewed on Audio Theatre Central Podcast

Recently, a podcast called Audio Theatre Central reviewed the most recent JP album, The Voyage Beyond. Audio Theatre Central's hosts, JD, Roy and Andrew, review what they consider to be the top 3 family-friendly audio dramas: Adventures in Odyssey, Lamplighter Theatre, and Focus on the Family Radio Theatre.

Frank Montenegro in "Sibling Spies"

As you know, Frank Montenegro plays Dr. Kendall Park and several other voices on Jonathan Park. Well, Frank, myself, my sister, and other starred in a 25 minute radio drama that I wrote and produced on a fan podcast of another radio drama called Adventures in Odyssey.

Rick Wraith, Christian Detective

Are you like me? Waiting around, just longing to hear some JP shows? Well, we have something to tide you over until that happens!

The Riffenburgh Family, veteran homeschoolers, writers for Jonathan Park: The Voyage Beyond, and the founders of the Creation Adventure Family, have created their own radio drama! It's called Rick Wraith, Christian Detective. It's set in the 1930s during the Depression. It focuses on Rick Wraith, a private investigator, who along with his son, help bring criminals to justice. The show gives great scriptual truths and an exciting mystery. Also, hearing some familiar voices from JP is a plus. The first installment, For the Love of Money, is now available on CD and digital download. I've heard both parts and it's well worth your money! The Future of JP Study Guides

We love to get Jonathan Park albums. Many of us fans have also come to enjoy receiving complimentary study guides along with them. The study guides emphasize the science and Scripture heard in the shows along with devotionals, experiments, etc. Well, starting with Vol. 6 The Journey Never Taken, that ended. No study guide was included. The study guide for that then was put on the Members section of The Official Site as a free digital download. Then Vol. 7 came along and no study guide with it.

This past summer, I was in a store that sold several JP albums. Just out of curiosity, I looked at the back of Vol. 2 and this is what I saw:

I wondered if this meant that Vision Forum was discontinuing sending the physical copies of the study guides. So I emailed them and got this reply:

We no longer produce physical copies of the Jonathan Park study guides. You can download digital copies of the study guides after becoming a member of the Junior Response Team.

So it looks like those paperbacks that you have are now a collector's item. Be on the lookout though for a digital study guide for Vol. 7 in the future!

JP Wiki is Back!

About a year ago, a Jonathan Park fan started his own Wikipedia site for Jonathan Park. It grew slowly and soon it had tons of information. Unfortunately, the hosting site, YourWiki, shut down and JP Wiki was dead.

But now, the same person has found a new hosting site to start the Wiki up again! It's still very new and we need contributions! If you've had any experience editing wikis, we need your help to create pages for episodes, characters, etc. Head to the website to get started!
